Kevins Automotive is hands-down one of the best local shops Ive ever taken my car to. I brought in my Chevy Malibu for a check engine light and some windshield washer issues, and they treated me like a regular from day one. Kevin has taken care of our vehicles for approximately 14 years now. Fourteen! Years! That is four different vehicles. That should say something about his integrity and professionalism. Kevin understands that a car repair is more than just a service. He knows that your vehicle is a 2000+ lb projectile hurling down the highway at 60 miles an hour or more. This man is THE definition of INTEGRITY and HONESTY. Beyond that Kevin is the most truthful mechanic we’ve ever had. The first time we went to Kevin he turned down the opportunity to do transmission work for over $2500. Instead, he sent us to Phil Long Ford where we were able to get a transmission under warranty, which turned out to be incredible fortunate because that 2005 Ford Freestyle (Loved that crossover passionately and I still mourn it) went through three additional transmissions. He saved us over $10,000 because he did the right thing when no one with a mechanic’s knowledge was watching. We didn’t know better, but he did. We drive and ride with confidence because we know our current van is safe for not only ourselves, but for others on the road, or sidewalks.

From the moment I walked into Mikes Automotive, the front desk guy, Kevin made me feel at ease. A mechanic by the name of James was in the area and they both were able to walk me through the process of the diagnostic. My car is a 2006 Ford Explorer. Right there I had my own issues preceding me before I even walked through the door. Kevin was able to schedule right away. I felt confident in both men and Mikes Automotive. I returned after the diagnostic only to be surprised that they were going to work on the car. The best part was the estimate that they gave me. It was nearly 1/3 less the price one of their competitors. I will return and definitely have the work done. Thanks Mike's Automotives.
